Join us for a soulful night with Sylent Nqo — "The Guitar Sangoma" — celebrated Zimbabwean/Mozambican guitarist, composer, and singer/songwriter whose music is known for it's healing energy and emotion. 

This is an intimate, ambient performance nestled in the indoor jungle of Plant Playground — a space designed to nurture the senses and connect through music, nature and intention.

Sylent Nqo is a celebrated Zimbabwean/Mozambican guitarist, composer, and singer/songwriter known as "The Guitar Sangoma" for the healing essence of his music. Leading his band, "The Noise Makers," he has performed with iconic musicians like UB40, Dr. Oliver Mtukudzi, and Hugh Masekela. His collaborations with artists such as Davido and Jah Prayzah highlight his versatility. Nqo has received numerous accolades, including the "Senior Solo Instrumental Grand Champion of the World" title in 2016 and "Best Alternative Musician" at the Zimbabwe Music Awards in 2019. His debut album, "Sylent Treatment," released in 2022, showcases his innovative approach to music. He actively engages with global artists through social media, promoting diversity and the transformative power of collaborative artistry.
